Vitiligo / Leukoderma

Vitiligo, also known as Lenkoderma, causes the development of white patches on the skin. At Shilp Hospital, treatment is planned according to the individual patient’s condition. For newer cases, medical treatment may be considered as the initial approach, while longstanding and stable patches may be evaluated for appropriate dermatosurgical procedures.

Depending on the nature and stability of the condition, treatment options may include procedures such as melanocyte transplantation, skin grafting and suction blister grafting. The choice of treatment is determined after evaluating the patient and considering the expected course and time required for results.

Personalised care for vitiligo and white patches on the skin, with treatment options selected according to the condition, duration and stability of the disease.
