LIPOSUCTION

Some areas of stubborn fat can remain despite regular exercise and healthy lifestyle changes. Liposuction is a minimally invasive body-contouring procedure that removes localised excess fat to help improve the shape and proportion of targeted areas.

Depending on the individual’s requirements, liposuction may be considered for areas such as the abdomen, back, flanks and thighs, as well as selected areas of the face or chest. The procedure involves removing excess fat through small access points using a specialised cannula.

In cases where a significant amount of fat is removed and excess skin remains, an additional procedure to remove loose skin may sometimes be considered. Treatment is planned after an individual assessment to determine the appropriate approach.
